Our Story
Founded in 1980, the Ontario Farriers Association is a non-profit organization that speaks for the interests of its members and is a resource for the equine community regarding hoof care. Further, the OFA assists farriers to improve their skills and provides a forum for the promotion and implementation of standards for quality service in the industry. The OFA is dedicated to the principle that continuing education is needed to improve health care given to horses.
